The other poems are pretty dumb and edgy compared to the few I liked. Maybe it's because I'm in my mid 20s now, but these aren't as meaningful and impactful as I would've liked and just thoughts I've heard somewhere else before. One is literally, "i am resistant to change, i'd rather eat ice, and cry on an airplane". What. Or "can you miss someone you never really knew". I have read all of Michaela’s previous work and have really enjoyed it. This collection is on a whole other level for me. I started reading it and by page 4 I was sobbing and I couldn’t put it down.
